Peer Review Process
Insight: Journal of Islamic Education applies a rigorous double-blind peer review process to maintain the quality and originality of its publications. Every submitted manuscript first undergoes an initial editorial screening to ensure alignment with the journal’s focus, scope, and submission guidelines. Manuscripts that meet these criteria are reviewed anonymously by at least two reviewers, who assess the originality, scholarly contribution, methodology, and clarity of the work.
Based on reviewers’ recommendations, the Editor-in-Chief—together with the editorial board—will decide whether the manuscript is accepted, requires revision, or is rejected. Authors must revise their manuscripts according to reviewers’ feedback before resubmission. All submissions are checked with plagiarism detection software prior to acceptance, and the final decision on publication rests solely with the Editor-in-Chief.
